Chassis reference — frame and construction details
Perimeter Frame (shown above)
Custom laser cut and formed HHR frame rails, front model A spring cross member, 2" rise in rear cross member, with rear body mounts. Narrowed in rear to 36". $900.00
Basic Frame
Perimeter frame with upper front shock towers, SBC-SBF engine mounts, transmission cross member with bolt on transmission mount, Vega steering box mount, front 4 bar or hairpin mounts, rear 4 bar mounts (triangulated or parallel). TIG-welded components. $2,600.
Complete Rolling Chassis
Comes standard with complete hub to hub 4" drop I beam or tube axle, front 4 bar or hair pin with panhard bar, complete cross steering with new Vega box and pitman arm all plain steel. Front GM disc brakes, engine mounts (SBC-SBF), removable transmission mount, brake pedal and manual master cylinder mount, rear triangulated 4 bar, new 9" Ford housing with axles (28 or 31 spline) 10" drum brakes, reconditioned open 3rd member (up to 3.50:1 gear ratio) and rear adjustable coil over shocks. $8,100.(Note: Change to rear parallel 4 bar with pan hard bar, add $150)
Complete Rolling Chassis with Heidts Independent Front Suspension using Coil Overs
Complete hub to hub Heidt's IFS front with Wilwood 4 piston calipers, tubular upper and lower control arms, front coil over shocks, engine mounts (sbc-sbf), removable transmission mount, brake pedal and manual master cylinder mount, rear triangulated 4 bar, rear coil over shocks, Ford 9" housing and axles (28 or 31 spline axles), 10" drum brakes, open third member (up to a 3.50:1 gear ratio). $10,000.
